Unfinished, Ready to Urethane
This cork tile comes either natural or with a stained surface, ready to urethane. Urethane is applied to the cork surface after the tile is installed. Three coats (see directions) of satin urethane (low gloss) are required to seal this product, thus making it ready for foot traffic.
The surface of this cork tile is semi smooth with visible natural texture on its surface. Unfinished tiles are available with a square edge or beveled edge.
These tiles are pre-glued on the back with water-based, contact adhesive; however, glue must also be applied to the sub-floor surface to make adhesion possible.
The urethane and contact adhesives are water-based, environmentally sensitive, quick drying, and practically odorless.
Allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.

This cork tile is pre-finished with several coats of urethane applied at the factory. The urethane has a satin finish (low gloss) and the tile has a smooth texture.
Pre-finished tiles are available with a square edge only.
These tiles are not pre-glued on the back. Water-based contact adhesive must be applied to the back of each tile as well as the sub-floor surface to make adhesion possible.
Our urethane and contact adhesives are water-based, environmentally sensitive, quick drying, and practically odorless.
Our "Noble" quality tiles are not pre-glued on the back of the tile. Glue must be applied to the back of each tile prior to installation.
Optional: Areas that require constant damp mopping, such as bathrooms or kitchens, may require an extra coat of urethane. Urethane may be applied after installation.

Masterpiece cork tiles are covered with a layer of factory applied clear vinyl. The vinyl is fused to the tiles surface using bonding agents and great pressure. The precision cut edges are sealed with acrylic lacquer to prevent the invasion of moisture. The vinyl surface of Masterpiece cork tiles make them easily maintained with a broom or vacuum cleaner and occasional washing with warm water and mild detergent. The tile surface is smooth with a satin, low gloss finish.
These tiles are available with a square edge only.
This tile is not pre-glued. There is no glue on the back of these tiles. Glue must be applied only to the sub-floor (refer to installation instructions).
Optional: cork dressing may be applied to tiles after installation. This dressing makes spills and cleanup easier and adds an extra layer of protection to the cork's vinyl surface. Application is simple and drying time is approximately 20 minutes.
Allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.
